About this trip
Twice a year in the Sea of Cortez, Mobula rays come to play… and congregate in the largest Mobula migration in the world! Tens of thousands of the unique animals flock to the cold upwellings of nutrient rich water in search of food and a mate!
Join me and a small group of other ocean loving enthusiasts to witness these flying rays as they form huge groups called “fevers”. We will enter the water and enjoy these animals in their natural habitat while enjoying the dozens of other species that call the sea of Cortez home!
What makes this trip so special, is that even though we will see tens of thousands of Mobulas they are still considered vulnerable due to an extremely slow reproduction rate of only 1 pup every 1-2 years. So sharing the water with them makes it ended more spectacular.
