Join me in Bar Harbor, Maine to experience all things fall! We will sip hot coco, enjoy fall foliage and take pictures of pretty lighthouses! We’ll be staying in the heart of Downtown Bar Harbor so all fun things will only be a short walk away.
Day 1 - Meet Up!!
- we will leave Boston area at 12 PM on October 16th to start making our way ”Downeast“ to the sleepy town of Bar Harbor.
- this drive is 4 and a half hours but we will have a surprise stop on the way to break up the drive!
- The fall foliage colors along the way are also magnificent!
- Check in to West Street Hotel in Bar Harbor by 6 pm
- Dinner at a restaurant of your choice!
Day 2 - Explore Bar Harbor!!
- This day is ultimately yours!! I will happily provide advice on what to do where to go and what to see.
- I will be including a guided hike through some on my favorite trails from the 4 summers I spent in Maine!
- opportunity for a horse drawn carriage ride! - fun fact… I worked at the carriage tours for a summer in 2020 and this excursion is a fantastic addition to any vacation!
- Food this day is not included but again I will happily provide transport to those wanting to travel a short distance around the island.
- I will also include a narrated drive of the areas surrounding Bar Harbor!
Day 3 - Fall Foliage/Lighthouse Cruise!
- The day we’ve all been waiting for!
- Upon waking we will make our way across the street from our hotel to embark upon the Friendship V, a 112 ft catamaran with 3 decks and 2 inside cabins.
- We will then spend the day traveling through Frenchman’s Bay, up the Penobscot River to explore 10 different picturesque lighthouses, yummy food, playful seals, potential bald eagles and most importantly spectacular fall colors and views!
- cruise is 9.5 hours with food, coffee and beverages included! (There is alcohol on board for purchase!)
- Dinner is back in Bar Harbor at restaurant of your choice!
Day 4
- Last Morning in Bar Harbor!
- Depending on What people want to do we are planning to leave Bar Harbor by 12 Pm to make it back to Boston by 5 pm so guests who wish to fly back that night may do so

Light house Cruise with ten lighthouses, fall foliage views, food and drink included for the duration of this tour
Guided Hike
I will happily be leading the group in a guided hike through one of my favorite trails on the island
Short narrated drive
This will be a short lay of the land so people can truly get a feel for where they are and what there is on the island

Food
all food other than the lunch provided on the full day lighthouse cruise in not included, this gives everyone freedom to enjoy Bar Harbor as they choose!
