ALASKA - AUGUST 11-22, 2027

DAY 1

• Meet me in anchorage to start the most incredible trip!🐻

Day 2

• Wake up in the last frontier to get this adventure started!

• We will start the expedition with a gentle morning to energize ourselves for the activities ahead😊

• Breakfast!

  • Food is my FAVORITE part of a trip… so don’t worry you WILL NOT be hungry on this adventure! 

• Midday flight - fly one hr from anchorage to Kodiak where we will meet our floatplane the following day to our lodge!

  • The cost of this flight is not included but I am happy to add it on for you✈️

• Land in Kodiak

  • We will have several opportunities to explore Kodiak - this trip is so far out so any special interests you may have… fishing, hikin, museums etc. let me know so I can personalize this adventure best I can! 💙

• Dinner in Kodiak

• Sleep in Kodiak

Day 3

• Breakfast at the hotel and prep for float plane pick-up!

• Midday pick-up in Kodiak to our remote lodage location - a 45 minute float plane ride away - in Katmai National Park

• Arrival at Katmai Wilderness lodge and to meet our guides and start our adventure!!

• ½ day bear viewing and activities after a perfectly scrumptious lunch is served upon arrival

Days 4-6

• Explore the wild and scenic beauty each day from Katmai Wilderness Lodge

  • Each morning we will split up into 2 groups to keep the groups small

    • This allows us to cater each day’s activities to best suit all guests as well as ethically view the wildlife we encounter!

  • Activitiy options

    • Boat ride around the coast where the lodge sits

    • Hike out to see Brown Bears fishing for salmon and fattening up for winter!

    • Whale Watching where we could also see…. sea otters, seals, sea lions and more!!

Day 7

• Our final morning at Katmai Wilderness lodge

• ½ day bear viewing and activities

• Midday flight back to Kodiak Island

• Evening exploring Kodiak

  • This could include tide pooling, museums and more!

• Dinner

• Sleep in Kodiak

Day 8

• Spend the morning exploring Kodiak - tour activity I haven’t quite figured out the exact one we will do ☺️

• Midday flight back to Anchorage

• Evening drive around anchorage to look for moose! 🫎

Day 9

• Breakfast

• Head off to our next big activity! 

  • A HELICOPTER ride to the top of a glacier to go dog sledding! These dogs are famous… they’ve raced in the Iditarod and yes… if there are puppies we get to cuddle them 💙

• Lunch in a quaint little Alaskan town 

• Drive to Seward to start our coastal Alaskan exploration

  • The drive from anchorage to Seward is one of the most beautiful drives in the country and if we see any wildlife along the way we will most definitely stop for the photo opportunity/Experience!! 

• Dinner in Seward

• Sleep in Seward 

Day 10

• Breakfast!

• Full day Northwestern Fjord Cruise

  • Travel into the most remote areas of Kenai fjord National Park

    • I d0 this cruise every year and It is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!  

    • We have the opportunity to see 3 different tidewater glaciers(glaciers breaking off into the ocean) including the most impressive Northwestern Glacier 

    • We could see wildlife like… 

      • Orcas

      • Humpback whales

      • Stellar sea lions

      • Harbor seals

      • Seabirds

      • Otters

      • AND MORE!!

    • Lunch is included and if its up your alley you can get a glacier ice Margarita 🍹

  • Delicious dinner in Seward 

  • Sleep in Seward 

Day 11

• Breakfast! 

• This is our day to explore Seward! I don’t want to give away all the secrets but we will hike near glaciers/visit the Alaska sea life center and more! 

  • This trip is still far out so if there is anything that interests you not on this itinerary let’s talk!

• Lunch  

• ALASKA RAILROAD HISTORIC AND SCENIC TRAIN RIDE!!🚂 with a snazzy dinner service and outdoor view! 

  • Enjoy this several hour expedition on winding railroads through temperate rainforests, frosty glaciers and the opportunity to see wide variety of wildlife! (Could be other guests on the train but hopefully its bears and moose)😂

• I will be driving back from Seward and will be there to pick you up and take you to our lodging in Anchorage for the night! 

Day 12

• Fly home… and plan our next adventure!!! 🤩
